The Truckee Donner Public Utility District, a cornerstone of the local community, capped 2024 with a series of significant achievements, laying the groundwork for a sustainable and resilient future. At Truckee Donner Public Utility District's Nov. 6 board of directors meeting, the board approved the submission of the 2023 Power Source Disclosure Report and Power Content Label, and approved agreements for leases in Truckee Regional Park to enable the development of the new Truckee Library and Rocker Memorial Skate Park.

Voters in Nevada County will elect or re-elect three board members to the Truckee Donner Public Utilities District board this November. 

Truckee Donner Public Utility District named a newly-built water pump station the Joseph "Joe" R. Aguera Pump Station, in recognition of Aguera's 37 years of commendable service.

At Truckee Donner Public Utility District's July and August board of directors meetings, the board approved contracts needed to deliver on crucial capital projects, authorized the annual membership in the Truckee Tahoe Workforce House Agency, adopted the second quarter power charge adjustment, and held a workshop on the TDPUD's mid-year financial review.
