Scott Alvord represents District 5, the westernmost part of Roseville. He ran for reelection in 2020—the first time the city conducted district elections. According to his campaign site, TalkToScott.org, Alvord has diligently worked on economic development issues all over the city, but is particularly passionate about getting commercial developments built west of Fiddyment Blvd. A family man who raised seven children, Alvord is the CEO of Advanced Development Concept, a business consulting company. And before 2016, he was the original owner of the restaurant A Dash of Panache in downtown Roseville. In addition to being active in the business community and with too neighborhood groups to list here, Alvord also served on the Placer County Homeless Advisory Committee and helped form the Placer Rescue Mission, a 501(c)3 charity organization.
