The County of El Dorado’s Historical Museum Commission is a comprised of seven members appointed by the County Board of Supervisors with a goal to “provide collections and operations oversight and recommendations to staff,” as well as encourage local residents to take part in maintaining historical artifacts and documents.
The Museum Commission meets every two months, usually on the first Friday at 9:30 AM in January, March, May, July, September, and November. The actual dates are determined by the Commission at the beginning of the calendar year.
