County of El Dorado

Longtime El Dorado County resident Jon DeVille was elected as El Dorado County Assessor in the June 2022 election. He’s been with the county since 2006, first in the capacity of senior department analyst and then, in 2013, as chief fiscal officer at the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office.

DeVille holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Menlo College and a master of business administration degree from San Francisco State University. Having worked at Sony and Oracle early in his career, he brings a unique blend of both the private and public sector experience to the role.
