The Planning Commission consists of seven members who are appointed by the City Council to four-year terms. The Planning Commission serves as an advisory committee to the council on issues involving the city’s general plan, specific plans and zoning and subdivision ordinances. Commissioners consult with public officials and agencies, public utility companies, and other stakeholders concerning implementation of the general plan. Meetings are open to the public; find the agendas online.
The Planning Commission meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 600 Sixth St, unless held virtually.
