A representative for cycling and water sports, Phil Sayre moved to Auburn from the East Coast. He became a member of the Endurance Capital Committee in early 2018. Sayre is a business owner who is engaged in scientific consulting; he holds a Ph.D. from Georgetown University. He also is a board member of the national non-profit TeamRiverRunner.org, which focuses on introducing service members to whitewater paddling.
