The Saratoga Library Commission seeks to ensure that the Santa Clara County Library delivers informational, educational and recreational library materials and services to the community. The commission works with both the Saratoga City Council and the Santa Clara County Library Joint Powers Authority Board. The commission has no administrative authority but its members do participate in the general planning of library operation, policies and programs. One member is nominated by the City of Monte Sereno.
Regular meetings take place at 7 p.m. the second Monday of every other month at the Saratoga Library Community Room, 13650 Saratoga Ave.
