Truckee Donner Public Utility District and Truckee Fire Protection District are again joining forces to encourage community members to “adopt” fire hydrants during the winter.

The Truckee Town Council hopes to close the gap of weatherized buildings with the allocation of funds, which was approved during the Nov. 28 meeting.

The Public Art Commission of Truckee is working on its next art implementation project. One location that is under consideration is the Mobility Hub in the Railyard area.
