The Airport Commission advises the Board of Supervisors on the planning, maintenance, development and operation of the airports and airport facilities owned, controlled or leased by the county. Commissioners assist with formulating policies, preparing budgets, and researching funds available to the county from federal, state and other sources. The commission consists of five members appointed by the Board of Supervisors.
The commission meets as necessary.
