The Auditor-Controller is the chief accounting officer of the county, responsible for budget control, disbursements, receipts, and the accounting and reporting functions of the county’s budget. Gina Will was appointed to fill the position in January 2023 after a Nevada County judge ruled that Rob Tribble—the person who won election to the office in the June 2022 primary—was not qualified to serve.
